Our cabin is in South Westridge, a development of single family homes — each on 1+ acre of land — located on the west side of Cheat Mountain. Almost all other development in Snowshoe (mostly condos) is on the top of the mountain or on the east or “Basin” side, neither of which offer unobstructed sunset views. The Westridge neighborhood spans ~2 miles of roadway from the North Westridge entrance (across from the Silver Creek access road) to the South Westridge entrance (across from Logger’s Run). In the middle between the two sections of Westridge are Snowshoe’s Western Territory trails. During the winter the slopes prevent traffic between North and South Westridge. During other seasons vehicle traffic may be permitted (be alert for signage).
Although our home is managed by a local property manager, as owners we are intimately familiar with the home as well as the area and are happy to answer any questions you may have to help in making your vacation decisions.
